ABOUT THE ARTIST

Angela Armijo is an artist residing in Denver, Colorado. She studied at Emerson College before earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of Connecticut. Transitioning from costume and stage design, Angela focused her attention on fine art. She studied the academic art method at the Real Academy of Art Colorado, an atelier certified by the Art Renewal Center.

 

Inspired by the techniques of the old masters, she incorporates their influence into her own contemporary creations. Angela's artworks are characterized by intricate details and emotional depth, capturing the essence of classical artistry. Through her work with charcoal, she brings life and texture to her compositions, inviting viewers to appreciate the rich tonal variations and expressive qualities of her work. Angela Armijo's dedication to her craft shines through in her compelling pieces, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to artistic exploration and expression.
